The Tribal Roads Department is primarily responsible for two components A) Driveway Improvement Program and B) Excavation Assistance for burial purposes on Private Tribal Property.

Description of Services
The objective is to improve access roads with sensitivity to the needs of the tribal members in the most foresightful manner. Eligible applicants will be provided with construction and drain repair if necessary. Tinhorns will also be provided and placed along the access road as required with the exception for entrances to county roads. County road entrances are the responsibility of that County Commissioners’ District. Once that district is notified it will be determined by them when the tinhorn will be placed. At no time will access roads be paved or will work be performed on previously paved driveways. A one-year follow-up inspection will occur once the project is completed to ensure the optimum life of the road.
